Overview
The Agent page is the primary landing page in Magnify. When you log in, you are brought directly to this page, where you can begin exploring your data through a conversational interface with the Magnify AI assistant.
The Agent page is accessible from the top-level navigation, alongside Motions, Dashboard, and other core areas of the platform. You can navigate to it at any time by clicking the AI Insights icon in the navigation menu.
Getting Started
Before Data Ingestion
If your Magnify instance has not yet completed data ingestion, the Agent page will display a message indicating that data is being prepared. Once ingestion is complete, the AI assistant will be ready to answer questions about your accounts and revenue.
After Data Ingestion
Once data ingestion is complete, you can begin a conversation with the AI assistant immediately. The assistant has access to your integrated data and can answer questions about accounts, revenue, customer behavior, and more.
Conversations
The AI Insights experience is built around conversations. Each conversation is a back-and-forth dialogue between you and the Magnify AI assistant, similar to a chat interface.
Key features of conversations:
- Status updates: While the assistant prepares its response, you will see a status indicator showing what the assistant is doing (e.g., querying data, analyzing results)
- Feedback: You can provide feedback on individual responses to help improve the assistant over time
- Auto-naming: Conversations are automatically given descriptive names based on the topics discussed, making them easy to find later. You can rename conversations when needed.
Asking Questions
You can ask the AI Assistant questions in natural language. The assistant will interpret your question, query the relevant data, and return results. Examples of questions you might ask:
- “Which accounts have the highest churn risk this quarter?”
- “What is our forecasted net revenue retention for next quarter?”
- “Show me accounts where support ticket volume has increased significantly”
- “What are the top drivers of expansion in our enterprise segment?”
- “How does renewal rate compare across product lines?”
The assistant is designed to handle a wide range of analytical questions about your customer data. If a question is outside the scope of available data, the assistant will let you know.
Creating Motions with the AI Assistant
As your conversation with the AI assistant identifies opportunities to take action, you can transition directly into motion creation. When the conversation shifts toward building a motion — for example, you’ve identified a segment of at-risk accounts and want to set up an automated engagement workflow — the experience smoothly transitions to the Motion Builder with your conversation context preserved.
The AI assistant in the Motion Builder can help you translate your goal into a motion structure.
Managing Conversations
Your conversations are saved and accessible from the Agent page. You can:
- Return to previous conversations to review insights or continue exploring
- Start new conversations at any time
- View conversation history organized by topic
