| Churn (historical) | Any decline in revenue for the account. This is inclusive of partial or full reduction of an account's revenue. | Calculated on an account basis |

| Renewal (historical) | Renewal amount of expiring revenue. The output is a currency value, ranging between all and none of expiring revenue. | Calculated on an account basis |
| Out of cycle Churn | Churn in advance of the revenue expiration timeframe (e.g., an "early out" clause in a contract) | Note: Magnify does not forecast out of cycle churn |
| Churn Forecast | Account level: Prediction of revenue decline per account. For subscription accounts, churn forecasts are only applied to time periods in which a subscription is up for renewal (i.e., Magnify does not forecast out of cycle churn). Aggregate: The churn forecast for a given quarter is the sum of all account level churn forecasts in that quarter. | Calculated on an account basis |
| Expansion Forecast | Account level: Prediction of revenue increase per account. Forecasts include expansion during revenue expiration events and out of cycle. | Renewal Forecast | Account level: Prediction of retained revenue per quarter. At the account level, this is the forecast of the amount of revenue retention following expiration. For example, for an account with $100K revenue expiring in a quarter, with $10K of churn forecast in the quarter, the Renewal Forecast will be $90K. Aggregate: sum of the Renewal Forecast for all accounts with renewal occurring in a given quarter. For example, in Q1, if 10 accounts were forecast to renew at $10K each, the Renewal Forecast for Q1 would be $100K, even if there were an additional 3 accounts with forecasted ARR but no expiring revenue occurring in Q1. | Calculated on an account basis |
