After successfully configuring the Magnify Email Service, you can send emails from Magnify via motions. This article will walk through the steps to send an email from Magnify.
Sending Emails from Magnify
1. Within a motion, locate the Magnify Send Email action in the Motion Builder tool pane.
2. Drag and drop the action in the desired location within the motion.
3. Within the motion builder canvas, click the Send Email action to configure the inputs required to send the email:
- Sender Name
- Sender Email Address
- Recipient Name
- Recipient Email Address
- Reply To Name
- Reply To Email Address
- Subject
Magnify supports dynamic inputs when sending emails. Dynamic inputs give you the flexibility to use data from integrated systems based on metadata objects that have been integrated and ingested during the onboarding process. All fields except Sender Email Address can be filled dynamic inputs. Sender Email Address should be a static address from the subdomain used to setup the Magnify Email Service. For example, you can send an email on behalf* of an account's assigned Customer Success Manager by configuring dynamic inputs for Sender Name, Reply To Name, and Reply To Email address. This way, Magnify-delivered emails will feel personalized to recipients, and their replies will land in the desired team member's inbox.
To choose a dynamic input, select the lightning bolt icon under the desired field name, then select the appropriate data field to use from integrated system.
*Emails must be configured appropriately within DNS records.
4. Click Choose Email and select an email template or create a new one. Please refer to our best practices guide regarding email templates.
5. With the correct email template selected, Save.
6. Optional: With all required inputs properly configured, you can choose to test the email by clicking Send Test Email.
